Find, classify, and rate games

Browse the whole library

Choose one value or All in each filter: Creator, Genre, Difficulty Level, Content Rating, and Member Rating. Different filters work together. For example, James Kamp + Fantasy + PG + All member ratings shows that creator’s PG Fantasy games, including games with no votes. A secondary genre matches just like a primary genre. PG means PG only, not G and PG. Text search matches titles, descriptions, and current creator names.

All removes that filter’s restriction. Unrated means no current votes. 8+ means an actual average of at least 8, even if a slightly lower average rounds to 8.0 on a card. Content classifications describe suitability, not quality; they do not grant or restrict access. Members Only games still require an active member account.

Cards, Compact List, and pages

Cards is the default; Compact List shows one game per row. Your display preference is remembered. Each library has numbered Previous/Next navigation: 12 games per Cards page or 24 per Compact List page. The filters and sort order apply before the page is selected. A filter change returns to page 1. Switching display keeps your filters, ordering, and matching results, placing the first item from the old page on the appropriate new page.

Newest first uses first publication, not a later cover edit or republish. Highest member rating sorts by average, then number of votes, then newer first publication. It ranks from the first vote and places unrated games last. Other orders are Most ratings, Title A–Z, and Creator A–Z. Clear Filters resets browsing selections. Copy the page address to share filters and sorting; the address never gives someone access to a private game.

Prepare a listing

In My Games, create a draft with a title and description. You may leave classifications unfinished while drafting. Before uploading your Web Player HTML or publishing, select one Primary Genre, a Difficulty Level, and a Content Rating. A second, different Genre is optional. Choose from Mystery, Horror, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Adventure, Thriller, Historical, and Comedy. Category names cannot be free-typed.

Beginner means introductory play with substantial guidance. Easy means light challenge with clear clues. Medium requires attention, exploration, and connecting clues. Hard means demanding puzzles or strategy and limited guidance. Rate your own intended challenge, not the game’s length.

G: general-audience content without strong language or graphic material. PG: suspense, mild language, or non-graphic violence; parental guidance suggested. R: strong language, intense violence, or disturbing mature themes within site rules. These are the creator’s TAGMaker classifications, not an outside certification. Gore and sexually explicit material are prohibited in both libraries. An R label does not override that rule.

Use My Games → Edit Details to correct classifications without replacing your HTML. Changes appear in new browsing results immediately. The creator name comes from the current public account name. A short public creator identifier distinguishes accounts with identical names; changing a name does not change ownership or ratings.

Upload cover artwork

Upload artwork
Recommended cover: 1,024 × 512 pixels, landscape. PNG, JPEG, or WebP; maximum 5 MB.

Artwork fills a responsive 2:1 frame. Other proportions are cropped, not stretched. Keep important words away from edges. The recommended pixel size is not mandatory. The same guidance appears above initial and replacement cover-image file choosers.

Rate a game

Sign in with an active, email-confirmed account and open Rate Game. Select a whole number from 1 to 10 and press Submit Rating. Selecting or hovering alone does not save a vote. You have one vote per listing; submitting again replaces it. Remove My Rating removes your own vote. The public result is an equally weighted average to one decimal place plus its count; you can separately see your saved vote. Creators, including administrators, cannot rate their own games. You do not need a tracked download or completion event.

Only averages and counts are public. Comments and public reviewer lists are not included. Ratings remain with the same listing through game-file updates, metadata/cover changes, unpublish/republish, and changes between Public and Members Only. A new listing starts unrated. Suspended members cannot submit or change votes, but their earlier legitimate votes remain counted.

Administrator corrections

Open Admin → Classifications & Ratings for a game. Correct its classifications or remove an abusive rating with a required reason. Individual review is private; an administrator cannot rewrite another member’s score. A removed abusive vote cannot immediately be resubmitted through the same account. Existing administrator sample games remain visible under All until their classifications are completed through Edit Details.
